Fortunately Christopher Mallock has agreed to come on board, to fill in whilst Mr. R is away, so there will be someone in Spain who can sign at the Notary when the sale is ready to go ahead. I can\’t see it happening before Friday, so I am off to the local Notary on Monday to arrange the Power of Attorney, I will then email it to Spain, and Chris will check with the local Notary, to ensure they will accept it, to save wasting Courier fees.
Chris is a certified Gestor Administrativo, which is unusual being a Brit in Spain, but very useful, especially in situations like this.
