Yesterday, I went off for the morning, just to get out, I didn\’t accomplish much, but as they say a change is as good as a rest.
This morning, I started by doing some gardening, I cut the grass, and then trimmed the azulina hedge, much to the annoyance of a big bee, which stung me in the arm and flew off…ouch! and it did hurt, but I rushed in, out came the vinegar, which took most of the pain away.
I then had a visitor, the Manager of the Building Supplies, next door, owned by Enimigo, Marcela said he wouldn\’t come himself, but send one of his men, and she was right. He asked to speak to Marcela, I said she was out, he said that Oscar (Enimigo) had a letter from the Planning Dept. and needed our signatures to say we were happy with the work done. He was pleasant enough, so I reciprocated, I told him that we were happy with the work done so far as it went, but that we would not be signing anything, until we had the go ahead from the \’Inspectora de Infracciones Urbanistica\’, who had an open case. At that stage any signing would be done at the Planning Office, and not in the street.
After confirming that we were happy with the work done, he gave me the thumbs up, and off he went to report to his Boss.
It was then time for more work on the grout removal on the old pool, but it really was too hot, the sun was shining directly onto all parts of the pool, so I did another meter, and called it a day. I need to do this either first thing in the morning, or late afternoon. It\’s now midday and looks as if I will be mopping out before my next stint, as the clouds are gathering, ready for another storm.
