For the past two days, we have been a man short, whilst Yeison was sent to sort out an emergency repair, Jaime and Duber have been getting on with the welding, Cristian and Jorge, have been tidying up the landscaping around the fence line, as a result it is now looking great…
The fencing itself is all up, and the gate from the garden to the Orchard is completed thanks to Duber\’s welding skills, he tried to give me some lessons yesterday, I was getting through the welding rods so fast, and not in a good way, I decided I would let him get on with the work, as he told me it took him five years before he was a competent Welder!
Now the garden is secure, and the only living entity who is not happy, is Pepe. He can\’t understand why his road to freedom has been curtailed, he spent nearly an hour, just patrolling the fence line looking for a way out, fortunately he didn\’t find one, which was probably the best test of all.
Now they just have to install all the razor wire along the top, build the main entrance gate posts, and then the new main gate will be installed, with an electric remote, so we don\’t have to get out in the rain, or ring our Partner to open the gate for us.
Hopefully the razor wire will be done by end of the day on Monday, it could be a couple of weeks before the new gate arrives.
Then it will be on to the next project!
