Jaime and the Team, have worked hard, the workshop is now painted, tiled and grouted.
The floor now just needs sealing before we can move in, and I mean that literally, Yes, at last, my workbench and tools will be able to come in from the cold, but I won\’t be able to use it as a workshop for a few weeks. We are moving the lounge furniture, and the oven into here, whilst Jaime works in the house, to stop the floors collapsing, it will be our temporary living accommodation, and we will only go into the house to shower and sleep, the base units for the kitchen are going in the laundry area on a permanent basis, so I will be able to the the washing up al fresco!
Outside the front of the workshop will be tiled once all the projects are completed, so that they are not damaged.
They have started tiling the Zona de Ropa, or laundry area, as you can see in the photo above, the walls have been painted a sand colour, I originally would have preferred white, but living on a mud track, the dust is horrendous, and they wouldn\’t have remained white for long, however now they have been pained, I have to admit to liking the colour, eventually the whole house will be done in the same colour.
