This morning I was still in pain when I moved my head, so Marcela rang my Medical Provider, because part of my extra Plan is Home visits, and she wasn\’t taking no for an answer.
Unfortunately it turns out that the cover doesn\’t extend to rural areas, which seems ridiculous, as that is where it would be most needed, but after she spoke to a Doctor, we packed up our things and made our way to the Mother-in-Laws house in Bello, and she rang again whilst we were on route, we were given a two hour waiting time, so when we arrived, I settled in for the wait, but fifteen minutes later the Doc was on the doorstep.
He decided that the collapse was probably as a result of low blood sugar, why it should come on now is anyone\’s guess, but he recommended that I eat a biscuit or have a coffee before taking the dogs for their morning walk. The head pain, he put down to concussion, and gave me a rear end injection to relieve the pain, although I have to say, I haven\’t noticed much difference as yet. A former Colleague has told me it could take three to four days for the symptoms to clear, so I guess I will have to try and be patient.
Once the Doc had left, we took the Mother-in-law out for lunch, before returning home, and having committed myself to doing some decorating for her, well I guess it is a while since we have done any work on the house, and it is ours, since I am winding down on any projects here, it is an ideal time to work on that house.
