It\’s been a busy couple of days, Sunday, I spent all morning cleaning the swimming pool, it was looking quite clean by the time I had finished hoovering all the fine dust into the filter, I must have changed and washed the filter four or five times, but not to be outdone, in the afternoon the sun went in and the rain came, that then turned into a tropical storm.
and when I woke up this morning, the pool was ready to clean all over again 😂.
After taking the boys for their daily walk, I updated on the news, to find that there was another incident in Copacabana in the early hours of this morning, a shooting in Copacabana town, time went by, no police arrived, despite the Station being less than 500m away, no Ambulance arrived, so the victim was taken to hospital in a private car where he was pronounced dead, then the Police arrived at the scene sirens going, they really are pathetic , they tell us that they have 24hr cover, but I suspect that is not the case, and they work on a call-out, I don\’t know for sure, but it\’s either that or they are scared.
I then went down town, to do our shopping, on my return, I believe I saw the victim from the fight outside our finca the other day, it was one of the lads from the Barbers, that is if the damage to his face was anything to go by, I haven\’t heard any more, so I don\’t know.
Back home, it was time to have another go at cleaning the pool, which I did, but it is now 4pm, and it looks as if the rain is coming, so I might be doing the same tomorrow.
