Rough!

Yesterday, I went for my Skin cancer check-up and all was fine, he is a little concerned about one patch, and I have another check-up in three months, however if there is no change, he says he will discharge me, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I have been winding up Marcela, saying I hope he does discharge me in June, as then, I will be able to throw away all my suncream…she went batty!

After leaving the Specialist, I cut across the City to buy Marcela a new laptop cable for her shop machine, as the original has stopped working. I had a long wait, as I was early, and unfortunately the shops I wanted, didn\’t open until 9.30am, I even had to wait a while until anywhere was open for breakfast! However it was worth the wait, I found a generic charger that was a third of the price of an original. It was then back home, for lunch with Marcela before she left for work.

This morning I woke early, so got up and took the boys for their walk, had breakfast, then headed down to Copacabana, paid my bills, did the shopping, and was home for 9.15am.

I then changed into my work clothes, not that I intended to do much, it is too hot, I cut the rest of my hedge, and then grabbed the wheelbarrow, and went and bought cement and sand from Agrozarzal (they haven\’t barred me yet!), then hopefully if the neighbours cars aren\’t in the way in the morning, I can get started on rendering the riverstone wall below.

Once that is done, I am going to have to speak seriously with my other neighbour, to get access to her garden, and render the wall alongside the swimming pool, crack in that are widening day by day, and if I don\’t do something soon, we will be able to shake hands through the wall!

Since I am still wheezing, and this hot dry weather isn\’t helping (not complaining), I am resting up for the rest of today.
