Whether it is a temporary glitch or, the dry season has come late, I don\’t know, but it has been sweltering for the last few days, as a result, both Marcela and I are suffering with sore throats and runny noses, nothing that effects our every day life, but a nuisance all the same.
I took my brushcutter to the Engineer yesterday, and collected it today, water in the carburetor, obviously my petrol is not lasting in storage, as this is nearly always the problem when I take this machine or the generator to him, it looks as if both machines will have to be drained totally after each use, which is a pain in the backside.
We\’ve heard nothing from the neighbours, so it looks as if I will have to go to the Town Hall next week, which I could have done without, but looking on the bright side, I will have the opportunity to put the wind up them, I\’m not sure yet whether I will waste my time taking it to the FiscalerÃa for defamation, but it\’ll give them something to think about.
Marcela has decided that we are both going on a diet, I know I need to lose weight, as I gained 2Kg just in the week we were away, but living on meat and veg for the foreseeable future, doesn\’t do a lot for me! It will be interesting to see how long it lasts, Marcela hasn\’t got a very good track record for keeping to any regime. Saying that, I went out this morning, and came bag with two bags full, one meat, the other vegetables, the latter was more the size of a bin sack.
Tomorrow, I\’m not sure yet, I either go off with the trailer to buy the white roofing panels we\’re using to line our mesh fence, or I work in the garden, I\’ll see how I feel after, hopefully, a good nights sleep.
