Copacabana, Antioquia, Colombia

Normally you don\’t see me write much about the town, because to be honest in the last four years, there has been nothing to be proud about, it was dirty, unkept, and other than the friendly people, didn\’t have much going for it.

However this morning I went to do my shopping, and over the last two days, since I was there last, the parque / park, has undergone a transformation, it has been cleaned, repainted, and with the Christmas decorations, is finally somewhere that looks loved.

These are all 360º photos, so you can use your cursor to look around the photos (If you click on the square icon on the right of the photo, it will go full screen, press escape to return to this page). This one was taken in the Park

And this one from the road between the Park and the Town Hall

The following two are of the Pedestrian street leading from the Park

There is still much to do to make the town what it should be but this is certainly a step in the right direction, however unless he has had a brain transplant, I don\’t hold out much hope of our Mayor Oscar Restrepo doing any more, to improve the town, this is the first thing that has been done since he came to office.

I moved to Colombia from Spain in 2012, and I am happily married to a Colombiana.
