The new washing machine eventually arrived at 3pm yesterday, I was rubbing my hands together ready to install it, when the Delivery Guy told me, that if I installed it, the guarantee was null and void…bloody ridiculous!!! With weekend fast approaching I was not happy, and spoke with Marcela at work.
Marcela rang the Factory, and they said they would get a Technician to contact her, but we heard nothing, so this morning she rang again, and was told that we were programmed for a visit today, she would get the Technician to make contact, which he did almost immediately, and said he would be with us about midday. For once things went in our favour, he was early and arrived about 10.30am, installed the washing machine, gave us a lesson, and sold us a washing machine cover, which to be honest was my intention to buy, as the drying area has high winds and consequently dust.
Once he was gone, the washing machine was in action, I have done two loads today, and I am happy again,
especially as I was beginning to think I would have to do some hand washing!
It\’s sad really that something as basic as an installed washing machine can make one so happy…Enjoy your week-end Folks.
