Sunday morning I got up early, I was suffering a bit, because I woke with pins and needles from my right shoulder down to my finger tips, but put it down to being on my knees and hand cleaning the tiles the previous day, albeit I was using my left arm for that. I mixed up some grout, then set to and regrouted the damaged area, it was nearer to three meters that had to be redone, but it went on easily enough.
The harder part was doing the first clean of those tiles.
By the time I had finished, I could hardly move my right arm, and as we were going out for lunch, I didn\’t think I was safe to drive, so asked Marcela to do the honours!
Back home, Marcela gave my shoulder and arm a massage, although it did help, I had, and still have little to no grip, it could well be a trapped muscle.
Today, I have been to Medellin shopping, I had no trouble driving, even though here I had to use my right arm for changing gear, it gave me no problems. When I returned home I cleaned a bit more of the tile, and had to stop, I definitely have a problem with this arm, it is a good job I have my three monthly check up with my GP on Wednesday, so I\’ll ask him. I also have a November appointment with my Orthopaedic Specialist for my knee, so if this is still giving my gip by then I will turn the problem over to him. I am definitely not liking this advancing age thing…It seems to be bringing a lot of problems along with it!
