A tip to save the coppers:
I decided the other day that it was time to replace one of the kitchen chopping boards,
I bought a new one, and today took the old one to the workshop as I had another use for it, but decided I would give it a quick sanding first, I used my palm sander, but you could even hand sand it, it would just take a little longer.
It looked OK once sanded, so I sanded more to take out the knife cuts, and it is to all intents and purposes, new! So back into the kitchen, gave it a wash, and it has a second life, it could even have a few more. Now I\’ve got to look again for something else to fulfill the other job!
