Slow start to 2014

There isn\’t much to report, I had not heard anything from Spain, until this morning, and that was because of the number of Public Holidays, the last of which was today, hopefully I will have some idea tomorrow, as to when I will receive the papers from the Spanish Notary, which will allow me to transfer my funds to Colombia.

I had a quiet birthday on Saturday, which suited me fine, the older you get, you sooner forget the annual marker, well, I would anyway! Marcela cooked a lovely evening meal, and we were joined by my Mother in law, as well as my Sister in law and her family.

We were going to see the Christmas lights tonight, as it is the last night before they are switched off, but it has been bucketing down for the last twenty four hours, and although it is drying up at the moment, it looks as if the heavens will open again shortly, so I think we have cancelled, I say I think, because there are three women involved in this decision, so anything could happen.

I moved to Colombia from Spain in 2012, and I am happily married to a Colombiana.
