Having heard nothing from Spain, I sent the prospective Buyers an email yesterday, and had a reply this morning, not good news, apparently the Bank has said that the Escrituras I had drawn up before I left, for the workshop and land are not accurate…funny that, because 18 months ago they were fine, it was just the one for the house that was out of sync, the boundaries are not clear, ummm well since the property is on a tier with the neighbours, one above and one below, it couldn\’t honestly be clearer, I also saw the Spanish deeds, and they make this plain, something is going on.
Now I am starting to worry…they tell me that the Bank will make a final decision within the next two weeks, so it will either be a celebration, or a wake! The thought of having to put the house on the market again, doesn\’t bear thinking about, and I don\’t want to have to fly back to sort everything out, at this moment, I just feel like I want to throw in the towel.
