It\’s been a quiet couple of days, nothing much has happened outside the home, but Pépe has been a different matter altogether.
Yesterday, while we were out he got hold of a couple of my CDs and used them as surfboards on the tile floor, and as for the covers, he is lucky not to have cut his mouth to bits, the plastic was in tiny bits, so decision made, it would have to be back into the coral when we go out.
This morning, he escaped when we returned from our walk, my fault for taking his lead off before we got in the apartment, unfortunately for me, there was an elderly couple on their way to Church in their finery, Pépe decided to greet them, and jumped up with his dirty feet, I say unfortunately for me, because as I was apologising, and giving his backside a slap, I got told off by the couple because \’he is only an animal!\’
Later we had to go out shopping, so Pépe went into the coral, he didn\’t like it, he was howling when we left, on our return, he had started ripping his false grass, from his toilet, to bits, in so doing, emptied the toilet across the floor, and he had also managed to jump at the wall and with his nails, take some of the plaster off, so I have some work to do.
I don\’t know what has got into him, he was doing so well, but since his operation, he has taken strides backwards, I am going to have to buy another couple of panels for the coral, so it is totally enclosed, otherwise I am going to have, one hell of a lot of work to do before we leave here.
