The Vet was very good she rang us at mid-day to say the operation had gone well, but she was keeping him to have an intravenous drip, and would ring back.
She rang back about 3pm, and said he was ready for collection, and other than being a little unsteady on his feet, he appears fine. He has certainly obtained an appetite, since coming home, he has wolfed some chicken, and a complete pigs ear!
When we are with him the collar comes off, but we have already caught him having a mooch in his nether regions, so we will have to keep a careful watch on him.
So far, Pépe seems to have forgiven us, but since he is still a little unsure on his feet, maybe that will change later!
