Pépe is coming along in leaps and bounds, and growing at the same rate! We suspect that he has worms, so today the Vet has sent off a sample for testing, he is due for his 2nd vaccination this week-end, so hopefully it will all be sorted out then, and once he has had his jab, we can start going out for walks.
The problem in our house at the moment is me! my back has gradually got worse, and as a result I was compensating for the pain by changing my style of walking, now my hips are playing me up. This happened last time, which was in 1995. Anyway, I decided it was beyond the stage of acupuncture, so this morning I have been for an appointment with the GP, she was very nice, made the usual comments re weight not helping, but give her her due, she did not press this. I have now got to go for X-rays on Saturday, and then a referral to a Spine Specialist, apparently I may have to have an MRI, that will be something new to tick off my list!
In the mean time, I continue with little sleep, and carry on as normal, pain killers don\’t work, so I don\’t take them. Marcela is a Saint, she runs around after me, wont let me do a thing unless I insist. There may come a time when I need more help, if the treatment goes the way I think it might, but for now I want to do as much as I can.
