Things are looking up.

This week has been spent giving our attention to Pépe, he is coming on in leaps and bounds, another week, and I think he will be house-trained, he goes to his artificial grass tray most times, but he has got cheeky, and taken a liking to a glass topped coffee table we have got in the lounge, if he is quick enough, he scampers onto the bottom shelf, runs round to avoid getting scalped, then pees on the shelf! little \’B\’ !!

We have been out and purchased a coral for him, so he has his own space, with his cage, his toilet area and toys all inside, and then we can confine any problems to that area when we are not about. With the advent of this coral, Pépe now spends his nights downstairs, to start with he woke us between 2.30-3am to say he had done his business, but he has gone through the night twice now, so fingers crossed.

Friday, we were invited out to lunch at a friends house up the valley, so Pépe had his first stint of being left totally alone, and he was asleep in his cage when we returned, so no problem there, and again yesterday when we went shopping, so I am not longer concerned about him in that respect. He goes for his second innoculation next week-end, and then we can start taking him out for walks, which will do us all good.

I think I am going to have to give in and go and see the Doc about my back, I am still having a lot of trouble with it, and the situation does not seem to be getting any better, which is worrying me a little.

News from Spain is a little brighter, I heard this week that the final stage starts next Friday (realistically the following Monday!) that should take a maximum of 3 weeks, and then the documents can go to the Bank for the Buyer to be given his mortgage, so fingers crossed…But I learned quickly, never to count my chickens.

I moved to Colombia from Spain in 2012, and I am happily married to a Colombiana.
