I guess everyone is getting ready for Christmas now, it is nearly upon us, another week, and we will wonder what all the fuss was about!
I have nothing to show for my week, we are getting things together ready for our trip down to Bogota in the New Year to renew my Visa.
We have also booked to go away for four days in February, we need a break, and it will be our first Anniversary. Hopefully by then we will also be able to celebrate the sale of the house in Spain, and start looking for our own place. We have had to renew the contract on this place for another six months, whether they will hold us to the whole six months I have no idea, hopefully not, there again, going on current form, we might need it!
I have finished my TEFL course today, I should know by tomorrow whether I have passed on not, it has been hard work, I didn\’t have to study full time, it just suited me, and other than one 86%, all my others have been 95% + so I am happy so far, it all hinges on this last assignment, then I will get my certificate. As I said previously it is only the basic course, because I am not intending to do it as a paid job, but even so, it has helped me learn, how to go about helping others, who want to learn English.
We are off to see the Christmas lights in Medellin, on a Chiva this Saturday, if I can get the video camera to work, I will try to put a clip on YouTube, apparently they are one of the best displays in the world, that remains to be seen, they certainly beat Blackpool for mileage.
