Up at 5.30am and at our first appointment at the Laboratory to give blood by 7am, there was no queue here (I am not surprised… what idiot gets up at this time to give their blood!) you are called forward to the cubicle, told to put your arm on the desk, and Hey Presto they take the blood sample, and I can go on the internet after 6pm to print off the results, what an excellent system. If I could just persuade them to let me have a lie in, ha!ha!

From there we headed back to the Medical Centre for the ECG, our hearts sank when we saw the queue back out of the doors, but it didn\’t take long to get a number, and about 20 minutes later I was called in for the ECG, the Nurse made my day, unlike Cadiar, I didn\’t have to have patches shaved on my chest for the sensors… what a relief. I was then given the print out and sent on my way.

We then came home for breakfast, before heading out into town again to pay some bills, but this getting up so early is no good for my system, Old Men need their sleep, so I have been back to bed this afternoon.

5.40pm, and we are just getting ready to go out again, I want to buy a new pillow!

New Pillow purchased, and looking forward to a good night sleep…hopefully!  I have also downloaded my test results and other than high cholesterol, everything else is normal, so not too bad.
